On behalf of MERIAL A/S, a Sanofi-Aventis company, we are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Key Account Manager/Technical Advisor to develop and support its product range for production animals in Finland.

MERIAL is now looking for a Key Account Manager / Technical Advisor to support its product range for production animal. The candidate must have a veterinary background and experience from working with production animals. This is a new position and the Key Account Manager/Technical advisor will play an important role for the future development of the MERIAL range for production animals in Finland.


POSITION

MERIAL is currently undergoing an exciting phase both with respect to products and services offered and the ways of organizing the business towards a stronger market representation in Scandinavia. The new Key Account Manager / Technical Advisor will therefore have direct influence on the future development of the business  in Finland and should be motivated by working in an entrepreneurial environment where he/she can utilize his/her interpersonal skills to provide strong customer management and proactively build strong relationships with external partners.

 

A relevant and competitive monthly fixed salary and benefit package will be offered .

 

The responsibilities:

 

  • Successfully profile and represent MERIAL
  • Achieve agreed financial development objectives
  • Actively participate and contribute in the further development of MERIAL and the business unit Production Animals
  • Prepare market input and the operational plan for commercialisation of the products sold in Finland
  • Proactively participate in all activities and willingness to be visible in the field
  • To maintain a high level of customer service/contacts and propose and implement key customer initiatives

CANDIDATE

  • The candidate holds an academic degree within Veterinary Medicine
  • A great interest in and some experience from working with production animals in Finland is a must
  • An interest or experience from the swine industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong commercial understanding and excellent analytical and co-operation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - building crediability
  • The candidate is extrovert, excellent in creating relations, trustworthy, result oriented, likes building and developing and likes to be involved and be engaged
  • Fluent in English and Finnish language is required and knowledge of another Scandinavian language would be an advantage
  • Willing to work field up to 80% of working days
