Nopco Paper Technology is a leading producer and supplier of additives for the pulp and paper industry, in the segments pulping, paper coating, paper making and recycling.

They are a highly experienced, innovative company, which places great focus on working closely with the customers to tailor solutions to their specific needs, adding value to their production process and final product. Nopco is an international company, with its headquarters in Drammen/Norway. In addition, they are represented in major markets throughout Europe, Asia and South America, with own laboratories, production facilities, subsidiaries and agencies.

 

 

Nopco Paper Technology, Product Manager for Pulp Industry

 

This position can be located anywhere in Europe, near a major metropolitan airport – from a leading country in pulping technology (like Norway, Sweden, Finland, Canada). The “Product” part also includes relevant technology from Chemret.


TASKS:

          Full product responsibility (pricing, branding, redesign and development)

          Coordinator between customer demands, development and production environment.

          Promotion of products as new and novel solutions

          In co-operation with our local sales organizations:

        Organize, overview and support trials and stay fully updated on all technical issues.

        Coordination of the launch activities

        Supporting sales in seeking out, develop and close business opportunities

          International Key account coordinator

          Ensure knowledge transfer within Nopco Group.

          Product presentations and sales arguments

          Market intelligence

LOOKING FOR:

          Master of Science degree in technical field such as Pulp and Paper Technology,  Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

          Minimum 10 years experience in Pulping segment in manufacturing, sales to industry or related field

          Good track records with customer relations with leading forest industry companies

          Good knowledge of pulp production line technologies

          Ability to identify next generation product opportunities and demonstrated success in commercialization of new products

          Language skills, minimum fluent English

          Ability to properly motivate customers to mill trials, execute and document those trials

          Excellent communication and motivational skills

          Strong negotiation skills and business understanding

Ability to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time

 

Competitive compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The candidate will be expected to begin this job as soon as possible.
