SALES MANAGER - Energy

On behalf of Bergen-Energi we are seeking a Sales Manager to take the lead of further expansion within the public sector in Sweden.

 

The company

Bergen-Energi was established in 1991 and with nearly 200 employees across 9 countries, the vision is to be a leading international energy brokerage company. This will be achieved by continually developing and delivering professional services and solutions within energy purchasing, portfolio management and administrative services. Typical clients are found in the areas of trade and industry, commerce and real estate including both public sector and private enterprises. Today the volume of physical and financial contracts traded on behalf of our customers represents over 90 TWh or approximately €5.2 billion.

The position

Bergen-Energi wants to strengthen the market penetration of the public sector and expand the business in Sweden and is looking for a Sales Manager with a strong drive and desire for challenges.

 

The key objectives for the Sales Manager are:

    • Development of the Public Sector business in Sweden. This will include development and execution of aggressive action plans to take advantage of the market opportunities and significantly increase market share in the coming years

    • Pro-active sales to new and existing customers promoting solutions within Energy Purchasing, Portfolio Management and Administrative Services

    • Understand the customers business and find solutions to meet their total need in the energy field

    • Develop Pan-European customers


The position will be based in Stockholm.

 

 

The candidate

Bergen-Energi is looking for a Self-starting Sales Manager with a passion to win. You have to be a strong and outgoing person with excellent communication skills and understand what it takes to be successful.

 

Your qualifications:

    • Ability to build and create profitable business in a highly demanding environment

    • Proven track record within solution sales to the Public sector and with documented results

    • Excellent selling and negotiating skills

    • Excellent communication skills in Swedish & English. Oral as well as written

    • Experience from the Swedish energy business, financial sector or IT businesses

    • Academic background is an advantage but not a firm requirement

    • You have to be a forceful self-starter with a strong commercial ability but also a good team player


Compensation

The compensation package is competitive according to qualifications and experience. There is a mix of fixed salary and commission related to a set of annual targets.
