Are you an energetic go-getter looking to move your career onwards? Arthrocare are looking for a dynamic, educated professional to lead the sales development of their growing product portfolio in the EMEA Distribution markets.

 

The Company

 

Founded in 1993, ArthroCare Corporation (www.arthrocare.com) is a highly successful and innovative medical device company.  Based on the patented Coblation technology, which uses low-temperature radiofrequency energy to dissolve soft tissue, Arthrocare develops, manufactures and markets products for a number of surgical areas, including arthroscopy, ear-nose-throat (ENT) and spine.  Important product lines are Opus, Topaz, Rapid Rhino and Atlantech.

 

ArthroCare is a fast-growing company that in recent years has added a number of novel technologies to its portfolio and continues research into new areas.

 

Arthrocare  is US-based, with offices throughout the world and the International headquarter located in Stockholm, Sweden. The markets are divided into North and South America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific and use external distribution channels as well as direct sales depending on the situation in the specific local market.

 

 

The Position

 

As Distribution manager, you will be responsible for driving the business in the EMEA Distribution markets.  By developing effective marketing strategies, planning distribution channels and organizing training programs you will lead the growth of the portfolio. The position demands an energetic and disciplined professional who will provide regular reports to the senior management team on the progress of sales and activities.

 

You will report to the EMEA Senior Group Commercial director.

 

Your areas of Duty and Responsibility will be to

 

·         Plan for the growth of the Arthrocare portfolio in your markets;  Develop marketing and sales plans for each of the local markets taking into account the different stages and different opportunities each market represents.

·         Identify and develop new distribution channels; Depending on the situation in the specific market, this includes finding new and developing existing distributors.

·         Support distributors at local congresses and workshops.

·         Develop and organize training programs

·         Provide relevant reporting to the EMEA Management.

 

The Candidate

 

The candidate to this position has preferably a background in selling through distribution and indirect marketing channels. You will bring a sense of urgency and drive and although not necessarily  experienced in selling directly to the medical technology markets  you will understand the fundamentals of selling through indirect channels to hospitals and medical professionals.

You have a university degree relevant to this position.
