On behalf of our client, a very large, successful and well reputed international company, we are searching for a professional Business Manager for the Nordic marketing department.

 

THE COMPANY

The company develops, produces and markets a range of well known consumer products in more than 200 countries worldwide. One of the core businesses are products for oral care, which are partly distributed through professional and pharmacy channels partly through the grocery sector.

THE POSITION

The position is based in Greater Copenhagen and reports to the Marketing Director, Nordic with a dotted line to the Director of Professional Marketing, Europe. The new business manager will be responsible for a team of 12 highly motivated colleagues. It is an exciting and challenging position close to the decisions taken in an international and most dynamic environment.

 

The overall purpose of the position is to increase brand recommendation and usage levels of company products among the Nordic dental professionals, and to develop the business in the professional and pharmacy channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Nordic Professional/Pharmacy business team.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans, adapted from divisional strategies and plans. 
  • Strategically lead expansion of portfolio into Pharmacy channel.
  • Manage and develop the professional product portfolio – Rx and OTC.
  • Work closely with commercial team to support sales through the pharmacy channel and dental depots.
  • Manage Advertising / Promotional spending.
  • Co-ordinate and integrate plans with other departments.
  • Organize and manage attendance at dental conventions.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate matches the following criteria:

 

Experience:

  • 10 years of field or marketing experience in dental or pharmaceutical / OTC / Pharmacy environment. 
  • Preferably pan-Nordic experience.
  • Experience with people management.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and drivers of the P&L.

Personality:

  • Results oriented.
  • Excellent people management skills, high ability to motivate and maintain focus in the team.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and be a leader in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills.
  • A professional, planned, organized and prioritized approach to work, along with an objective and pragmatic manner.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The salary and benefits package will be commensurate with candidate skills and experience. The package will consist of a fixed salary, pension, a bonus scheme, company car and relevant fringes and benefits.
