On behalf of our client Gate Gourmet, we seek a Unit Quality Coordinator. The position involves overall coordination of the food safety standard & service quality standard with direct report to the local Unit Managers of Norway.

THE POSITION
In general:
The position is located in Oslo.
To ensure the implementation of / compliance to GG Food Safety Standard & Service Quality Standard throughout all process steps in accordance with Gate Gourmet standards, legislation and customer requirements.
To be involved in all the quality assurance and control aspects within the unit.
HACCP:
- Implement HACCP Monitoring System in accordance to GG Food Safety Standard with respect to national legislation.
- Maintenance of HACCP system; constant improvement of system in respect to quality & effectiveness of system (procedures, checklists,…)
- Verififaction of system; monthly self audit with reporting & coordination of necessary correctice action; daily brief inspections of all operative areas of unit in order to verify compliance with GG Food Safety Standard with immediate corrective action in case of deviations. HACCP documentation/records shall be signed off by UQC before filing on daily base to assure compliance
- Filing of records to assure easy access for any internal/external auditor.
- Identification of non-conformities and develop action plan together with management. Follow up on the action plan.
- Supplier Auditing – if required / requested by Area QM
Quality Assurance/ Service Quality System:
- Implement & maintain GG Service Quality System
- Monthly report Unit Service Quality Self Control to Area QM
- Verify system by conducting regular spot checks
Hygiene Staff Training:
- Assure staff Hygiene training is conducted in compliance to GG Food Safety Standard
- Identification of training requirements
- Conducting of FMT trainings
Microbiological Food Analysis:
- Coordinate food sampling and dispatch to laboratory, as well as evaluate results and other feedback from laboratory & take necessary actions. Assure immediate corrective action in case of unsatisfactory lab results; report unsatisfactory lab results to Area QM.
Customer Claims:
- Undertake active participation in investigation into customer complaints, formulation of reports and response to customers; statistical trend analysis of customer complaints to be conducted and/or reviewed min. monthly with intention to design corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence.
Alleged Food Poisoning / Critical Food Safety Issues:
- Investigation as per instruction from Area Quality Manager
- Co-ordinating a response to the customer in cooperation / in agreement with Area QM / Unit Management / Customer Care.
Cleaning Management:
- Assure implementation of effective cleaning schedules; coordination of internal and/or external cleaning; supervision of external cleaning contractor (=daily spotchecks)
Pest Control:
- Assure implementation of effective pest control service; supervision of external pest control contractor.
Meetings:
- Regular meetings with unit management.
- Participation on all meetings in connection with any Food Safety & Quality issues (daily review meetings, …)
Communication:
- Internal: Area QM / Unit Manager / Process Owner / Contact person for all staff for Food Safety & Quality issues
- External: Customer, Authorities, External contractor as Laboratory, Pest Control Contracter, Cleaning Company, waste removal service contracter, etc.
Reports:
- Monthly unit reports to Area QM / Unit Management
- Report any severe / hazardous non-conformities/problems in regard to Food Safety immediately to Area QM / Unit Management
